Photobucket

This is my goodbye to you.

A photograph is many things - a tangible memory, a work of art, a secret just for you, a declaration to the world. It is a way of capturing life as I see it, whether or not others will share that view. Everything changes, but the photograph stays the same.

In that way, a photo is a farewell, is it not? This moment, forever captured with my lens, will never be returned to us. Every picture tells a story; every story breathes farewell.

There are many things that captivate my imagination, but my photographer's heart is largely charmed by still-life. Things that catch my fancy can range from a crisp autumn afternoon to lavender and eyelet lace, but most of my photos are taken during my sojourns abroad.
